The mistakes that are often seen on business sites are some of the following

  • Annoying background music that doesn't reflect a theme for the business.

AWD has recently converted to using database driven sites with a predesigned template.  This takes more time for initial setup but much less maintenance.  It's also search engine friendlier and smaller in size, increasing download quickness.
 
AWD prefers to simplify the navigation of a web site.  If you use the same style on each page, then your customer will be comfortable with navigating your site and bookmark it to visit again.  Having an easy to read website does not frustrate your customer and encourages them to stay and browse through your entire site.

The first page of a site is considered an "entry" page and is frameless so your site will have a higher placement in the search engine listings, plus load quickly to ensure interest in your site.
